01 / PREPARE
Get ready, then download.
You need a Windows x64 computer, a stable internet connection, OBS or TikTok LIVE Studio, and the TikTok account whose live events you want to receive. Run the effects app and your streaming software on the same computer.
The installer is approximately 3.5 GB. Leave room for installation and bundled media. This is a complete installer: you do not need to install Node.js or launch a separate original application.
Download Windows 0.1.27 installer ↗ Mainland China download (no overseas network needed) ↗ Open alternate download page ↗File name: LiveEntrance-Setup-0.1.27.exe. The file is hosted on the project's existing release service. If your browser opens a download page first, use the download button on that page.
There are two different downloads. The Windows installer lets streamers use the effects app. website.zip contains this static introduction and tutorial website for hosting. Streamers normally need only the installer.
02 / INSTALL
Install the app and activate your license.
Monthly pricing: CNY ¥105 per month or TWD NT$499 per month. Choose one currency option.
- Close any older version firstIf you already use the app, save settings, disconnect the chat, stop queued playback, and fully quit it. Run only one entrance app at a time to avoid a conflict on local port 17891.
- Run the installerWait for the download to finish, double-click
LiveEntrance-Setup-0.1.27.exe, and follow the installation wizard. Open Live Entrance Subscriber from its new desktop shortcut. - Open Subscription & License (訂閱與授權)On first use, activate an available plan in the app or enter a valid license code you already received. Existing users can restore access with the original code or Recheck payment (重新確認付款).
- Check the license and connectionThe subscriber app must connect online to validate an active license. Confirm the app shows that access is available before configuring effects. Updating the app does not require repurchasing your existing license.
The app's top-right language selector offers Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, English, and Tiếng Việt. This guide includes Traditional Chinese app labels in parentheses so you can also find the controls in that interface.
03 / CONFIGURE
Choose how you welcome viewers.
- Set entrance conditions (進場條件)Choose rules for ordinary viewers, special titles, fan club or wealth levels, and TOP ranks. Adjust the pause between animations to suit your stream; keeping the default is a good starting point.
- Choose visual effects (畫面特效)Set shared effects, title-specific animations, backgrounds, size, and position. Use Preview (▶ 預覽) to inspect the media, then adjust it for your scene.
- Set welcome speech (歡迎語)Choose a Windows voice, adjust speed and volume, and enter your welcome template. Use Preview welcome speech (試聽歡迎語) to check pronunciation and volume. For Chinese speech, install a suitable Chinese voice in Windows if none is listed.
- Save settings (儲存設定)Real chat events use saved settings. Preview and Test entrance use the values currently being edited, so save once more after testing.
Enable level-up effects separately. To use fan club or wealth level-up animations, turn them on in their respective settings, set the threshold, and check each with its own test button. Level-up effects are off by default on a fresh installation.
04 / OBS STUDIO
Add the effects to OBS.
Keep the effects app running and select the OBS scene you will actually stream. You can use Add to OBS (加入 OBS) in the app for automatic setup, or follow the manual steps below.
- Add a Browser sourceIn the OBS Sources panel, click
+→ Browser and name it “Live Entrance.” Leave Local file unchecked. - Paste the local source URLCopy the entire address below into the URL field, including
#tiktok.studio:
http://127.0.0.1:17891/overlay/screen-1#tiktok.studio
- Match your canvas dimensionsFor a portrait canvas, a common setting is width
1080and height1920. For a 1920 × 1080 landscape canvas, use width1920and height1080. Use the actual Base Canvas Resolution shown in OBS Settings → Video. - Check layer order and audioMove the effects source above your camera or stream background and enable its eye icon. Enable Control audio via OBS, check that the source is not muted in the mixer, and adjust its volume.
- Run Test entrance (測試進場)Return to the effects app and trigger a test. Check that OBS shows the animation and the mixer receives audio. To hear it yourself, configure monitoring in Advanced Audio Properties and use headphones to check for duplicated sound.
A transparent source while idle is normal. It does not show a permanent background and does not need a green screen or chroma key. Use Test entrance to confirm it works.
Alternative URL: http://local.joyso.taipei:17891/overlay/screen-1. If that hostname does not resolve, use 127.0.0.1 above. Both point to the player running on your own computer.

05 / TIKTOK LIVE STUDIO
Add the effects to LIVE Studio.
If you stream with TikTok LIVE Studio, add a web source directly there. You do not need to start OBS just for this step.
- Select your scene and add a sourceIn the Sources area, add a webpage or web link source. The exact label can differ by LIVE Studio version and interface language.
- Paste the same player addressUse
http://127.0.0.1:17891/overlay/screen-1#tiktok.studio. Keep the effects app and LIVE Studio on the same computer. - Set the size and layer orderMatch the source dimensions to your actual canvas. Use 1080 × 1920 for that portrait canvas, or your landscape canvas dimensions. Place the web source above the camera or background and make it visible.
- Test the picture and soundClick Test entrance in the effects app. Check the LIVE Studio scene, source volume, and mute state. Make a short local test recording to confirm audio is present and is not duplicated.
06 / GO LIVE
Test first, then connect to your live room.
- Run a simulated entranceOn the right side of the app, choose a viewer title, enter a test nickname, and click Test entrance (測試進場). Test an ordinary entrance and the special titles you plan to use. Check complete playback, avatar and name placement, speech, sound effects, and the exit.
- Save the final settingsAfter changing position or volume, click Save settings again. Also check that OBS or LIVE Studio has the correct scene selected and the source is visible.
- Start your stream in the usual wayYou control the start of the stream in OBS or TikTok LIVE Studio. The entrance app does not start the broadcast for you.
- Enter the correct TikTok IDEnter the account ID for this live room in the effects app. Use the ID, rather than a display nickname or another person's prefilled value. Once that account is live, click Connect chat (連線聊天室).
- Check real eventsConfirm the chat connection, then watch for an eligible viewer entrance in your broadcast scene. A successful simulated test confirms local playback; real events also depend on live status and the upstream event service.
- Animation, names, and volume have been checked in OBS or LIVE Studio.
- Your license is valid, and both the effects app and streaming software are running.
- The TikTok ID is correct, chat is connected, and your final settings are saved.
07 / UPDATE & BACKUP
Keep your settings when you update.
Version 0.1.27 fixes missed TOP 1–3 re-entrances when a repeated entrance omits its badge. Updates preserve existing media, licensing, animation, and speech settings. Reload the OBS or LIVE Studio web source after upgrading.
- Save and back up firstStop queued playback, disconnect chat, save settings, and fully quit the app. Press
Win + R, enter the folder path below, and copy the entire folder to a private backup location.
%APPDATA%\live-entrance-zh-subscriber
- Download and apply the updateReopen the app, click its version number at the top right to open Version & Updates (版本與更新), choose the stable channel, and follow the download and restart prompts. Alternatively, quit the old app and run the new installer manually. Unsaved edits, an active chat connection, or queued playback may need to be cleared before installation.
- Reload the source and test againIn OBS Browser source properties, refresh the cache of the current page. In LIVE Studio, refresh the web source. Run Test entrance before reconnecting chat. The app's Repair OBS (修復 OBS) feature can also reload existing OBS sources.
Backups contain personal settings and license-related data. Keep them private and out of the public website package. If upgrading from an old ZIP distribution, run the installer manually the first time, then use the new desktop shortcut.
08 / TROUBLESHOOTING
Check these first.
| What you see | What to check, in order |
|---|---|
| The source looks empty | Idle is transparent → run Test entrance → confirm the app is running → check source visibility and layer order → check the URL and port 17891. |
| The effect is covered or sized incorrectly | Move the source above the background or camera. Match its width and height to the real canvas and check for accidental cropping. |
| Animation plays without sound | Check that speech and sound effects are enabled and a Windows voice is available. In OBS, check Control audio via OBS, source mute, and the mixer. Confirm output with a short test recording. |
| Sound is doubled or echoes | Check for duplicate player sources and for desktop audio also capturing source monitoring. Keep one correct effects-audio path, then record another short test. |
| Tests work, but real entrances do not | Check the TikTok ID, live status, chat connection, and active license. Make sure events meet your entrance conditions, then save settings. |
| Old effects remain after an update | Refresh the OBS or LIVE Studio web source, confirm the new app version and correct source URL, then run Test entrance. |
| The local service cannot start | Fully quit other old or personal editions, then open only one entrance app. Keep it on the same computer as your streaming software. |
FOR THE WEBSITE OWNER
Publish your own copy of this website.
The following steps host the introduction, tutorials, and download links. The Windows effects app still runs on each streamer's computer; licensing and updates use the project's existing services.
09 / WEBSITE FILES
Download and extract the website package.
Return home to download the website ZIP ↗- Save and extractRight-click
website.zipin Windows, choose Extract All, and open the extracted website folder. - Find the website rootThe root must contain
index.htmldirectly, alongside folders such asassetsanddownloads. If there is an outerdistfolder, use the level directly containing index.html. - Preview the homepageDouble-click
index.htmlto inspect the page. When deploying, upload the entire website folder; uploading only the HTML can leave styles, images, or downloads missing.
Website root / dist
├─ index.html
├─ assets/
│ └─ Styles, scripts, and showcase media
└─ downloads/
├─ deployment-guide.html
├─ deployment-guide-zh-cn.html
├─ deployment-guide-en.html
└─ website.zip (optional: original deployment's fallback download)
Keep the 3.5 GB installer outside this website package. Installer buttons link directly to the existing release host. Include only website files and public downloads, keeping personal backups, license codes, payment data, API keys, and environment files private.
A downloaded website package normally excludes downloads/website.zip. This is expected. When someone clicks Download website ZIP on the homepage, the page creates a fresh ZIP from the current website files and excludes archives so they do not recursively contain themselves. To host your copy, upload the entire extracted folder; you do not need to add a ZIP manually.
Creating a fresh ZIP requires the homepage to be opened over HTTP or HTTPS, such as on your published website or a local web server. A double-clicked file:// preview cannot generate this download. The original deployment also includes a static downloads/website.zip fallback for visitors with JavaScript disabled.
10 / CLOUDFLARE PAGES
Deploy with Direct Upload.
The website files are ready to publish as static assets. You do not need Node.js, a build command, or a GitHub connection. These steps use Cloudflare Pages' browser upload workflow.
- Sign in to CloudflareOpen the Cloudflare Dashboard, sign in, and select the account you want to use.
- Create a Pages projectGo to
Workers & Pages, selectCreate application, and choose the Pages direct-upload option. Depending on the dashboard, the path may readGet started → Drag and drop your filesorPages → Use direct upload. - Choose a project nameFor example, use
live-entrance-guide, or a different name if it is taken. ChooseCreate projector continue to the upload step shown. - Upload the website rootDrag in the complete folder you identified above, with
index.htmldirectly inside it. Wait for all files to upload. You can also upload a ZIP with index.html at its root. - Select Deploy siteCheck that no files failed, then choose
Deploy site, orSave and Deployif that is the label shown. Open the project when deployment finishes. - Open your production addressUse the actual
*.pages.devaddress shown in your project. Complete the final checks below before sharing it.
Direct Upload updates require another upload. To use automatic Git deployments later, create a separate Git-integrated project. Dashboard drag-and-drop currently allows up to 1,000 files with a 25 MiB limit per file. If a file has a red warning, reduce or remove oversized showcase media and upload the full package again.
Workflow and limits checked against official documentation on October 16, 2026: Cloudflare Pages Direct Upload. An alternative dashboard path appears in the official Pages upload instructions. Dashboard labels may change.
11 / DOMAIN & UPDATES
Add a domain and keep the site current.
Connect a domain you own, if you have one.
- Add the domain to your Pages projectOpen
Workers & Pages → your Pages project → Custom domains, selectSet up a domain, enter your domain or subdomain, and selectContinue. - Complete the DNS setupAn apex domain must be added to the same Cloudflare account and use Cloudflare nameservers. For a subdomain, follow the instructions to create a CNAME pointing to your
*.pages.devaddress. Associate the domain with Pages before configuring its DNS. - Test after activationCheck that the homepage and download pages load over HTTPS on your domain. Without a custom domain, you can keep using the project's pages.dev address.
Official reference: Cloudflare Pages custom domains.
For updates, return to the same project.
After editing the local files, open your existing Pages project, choose Create a new deployment, select Production, upload the complete updated folder, and deploy. Reopen the production address to check the text, images, and download links.
When changing the desktop app release, also update the version, size, and installer address on the homepage and in the guides. The homepage generates the current website ZIP when requested; if you also provide a static fallback ZIP, update that file too. Editing website files does not update the Windows app, licensing service, or update backend.
Redeployment reference: Create a new deployment.
12 / FINAL CHECK
Check these six things before sharing.
- Open the production address on a computer and phone; confirm the layout and images display correctly.
- Check that navigation jumps to each section and the buttons work.
- Check that the installer button points to the correct 0.1.27 EXE and the alternate download page opens.
- Open the full guide and test the homepage's Download website ZIP button over HTTP or HTTPS.
- Confirm that public files contain no personal backups, license credentials, or API keys.
- If using a custom domain, check HTTPS and all page paths there as well.
Once these checks pass, share the public website address. Streamers can follow the first half of this guide to install the app, activate their license, and connect their effects to OBS or LIVE Studio.
