LIVE ENTRANCE / MANUAL GUIDE

Live Entrance | Software User Manual

Stable 0.1.35 · From installation to your daily stream

Updated 2026-10-23 · Stable app 0.1.35

Before you start

  • Use a 64-bit Windows PC. Run Live Entrance and OBS or TikTok LIVE Studio on the same computer.
  • Use your own host’s TikTok account ID and an active subscription license. Real chat events require an active livestream and internet access.
  • Complete a simulated entrance test before connecting live chat. Copy download links into Chrome or Edge; do not open them in WeChat’s built-in browser.

You can read on a phone; configure the apps on your streaming PC. Open links in Chrome or Edge, not the WeChat in-app browser.

STEP 01

Install the stable full package

Get LiveEntrance-Downloader.exe from the website. Choose Stable / Full for a first installation or a new PC. The current stable app is 0.1.35; downloader 1.1 is a separate tool version.

Full includes the software and animation resources. Lite is only for updating a PC with a compatible resource library. Beta is a testing channel; stable Lite is currently unavailable.

The downloader offers automatic or manual Shanghai / International routing, 1 / 2 / 4 / 8 connections and resume. Allow up to twice the installer size for download assembly, plus installation space. Click Install after verification, then launch the app from its desktop shortcut.

ConfirmConfirm the version in the upper-right corner and run only one Live Entrance instance.
STEP 02

Check the subscription and license

Open Subscription and license and follow the activation or license-code flow. The monthly price is CNY ¥105 or TWD NT$499; choose one. Existing customers can reuse their license or recheck payment. Updating does not require another purchase.

A successful check stores an encrypted license cache for up to 24 hours, never beyond the original entitlement. A valid cache can cover a temporary licensing-service outage; restarting does not extend it. Explicit revocation, rejection or a usage conflict still stops access.

Reconnect for validation when the cache expires. This cache does not make TikTok live chat work offline. Check the license panel for the actual remaining term and cache status.

ConfirmThe panel shows an active license without an activation-required message.
STEP 03

Learn the interface and save changes

The top bar contains the TikTok account, chat connection and OBS actions. The main tabs are Entrance conditions, Visual effects, Welcome message, and Subscription and license. Preview, testing and output controls are on the right.

After editing normal effect settings, click Save settings until the interface confirms they are saved. Animation preview and Test entrance can use the current draft; real chat events use saved settings.

Automatic chat connection and the OBS monitor-and-output checkbox save through their own controls. Manual OBS credentials require Save connection settings. Resolve any save error before relying on the new configuration.

ConfirmNo unsaved-changes notice remains, and you have retested the new settings.
STEP 04

Choose which viewers trigger effects

In Entrance conditions, enable entrance effects and choose ordinary viewers, special titles, gift levels or Fan Club thresholds. Meeting any enabled condition can qualify a viewer. Disable conditions you do not need to reduce the playback queue.

For leaderboard titles, enable the top-ranked-viewer condition and select the top 1, 2 or 3. Enable Prioritize TOP 1/2/3 titles to prefer a qualifying TOP title when that same viewer also has another VIP title. This setting does not move TOP viewers to the front of the playback queue.

Animation interval controls the pause after the previous animation and greeting finish. Fan Club and wealth-level upgrades have separate switches, thresholds and tests; enable and test them separately if wanted.

ConfirmTest the relevant viewer title on the right, confirm the threshold and timing, then save.
STEP 05

Set a fixed animation, greeting and banner for an ID

Enable Custom welcome list in Entrance conditions and add the viewer’s TikTok account ID, not their display name. The list supports up to 500 people. Edit a person to select their Personal animation and greeting.

Each listed ID uses a fixed animation. When the list is enabled and the ID matches, that personal animation takes priority over TOP, Super Fan and other title animations. Changing titles does not randomly select a different animation for that ID.

In the entrance presentation controls, choose whether to speak the greeting and show a banner, then independently select the viewer’s name and avatar. With both name and avatar off, no banner appears; speech and personal animation follow their own controls. Names and avatars come from the viewer data received with events.

Save, enter the same account ID in the test controls, and run Test entrance. Animation preview alone does not verify the custom viewer’s name/avatar banner.

ConfirmThe same ID uses the chosen animation, with speech, name and avatar matching its options.
STEP 06

Choose animations and adjust the picture

Open Visual effects, choose the shared effect, and configure title-specific animation materials as needed. Title materials can be fixed or randomized; a listed ID’s personal animation remains fixed.

Adjust the background animation, effect sound, effect volume, vertical position and effect size. For your own material, use the transparent WebM import control and preview transparency, placement and sound.

Check the actual OBS / Studio canvas or projected screen as well as the small app preview. Use Stop playback to end the current test, then save.

ConfirmImportant content is visible without unwanted cropping, and the animation and volume suit the stream.
STEP 07

Configure greetings and Windows voices

In Welcome message, enable Read entrance welcome messages, choose a Windows Chinese voice, adjust speed and speech volume, and preview the greeting. The {nickname} placeholder is replaced with the viewer’s nickname.

Effect volume controls animation sound; speech volume controls greetings. Check both separately. If no Chinese voice is available, install one in Windows and reopen the app.

The custom list’s per-person speech checkbox is independent of the shared greeting switch. If one viewer’s greeting is missing, check that ID’s checkbox and personal text, then run Test entrance with the same ID.

歡迎 {nickname} 進入直播間
ConfirmThe preview and a short recording contain one clear greeting, without the effect overpowering it.
STEP 08

Connect OBS or TikTok LIVE Studio

For OBS, follow the separate OBS WebSocket setup guide to enable the server and authentication. Expand OBS automation connection in Live Entrance. Try automatic settings first; if needed, manually enter the matching port and password, save and test. After success, click Add to OBS.

WebSocket normally uses port 4455 for OBS control. The URL below uses port 17891 to play the effect. These are different functions. The green live-source-connected indicator is also separate from a successful WebSocket authentication test.

For TikTok LIVE Studio, use its separate guide to add a web/link source with the URL below. Match the canvas: portrait W1080 / H1920 or landscape W1920 / H1080. Put the source above the camera. Studio itself does not require OBS WebSocket.

Check source audio in the OBS mixer. If you need monitoring maintained, enable the app’s monitor-and-output checkbox; it checks this app’s source every five seconds. Use headphones and a short recording to catch duplicate audio.

Enlarge screenshot · Genuine stable-app interface with documentation demo data. Use the source URL provided by the app. Keep port 17891, /overlay/screen-1 and #tiktok.studio in the local IP URL.
ConfirmThe streaming software shows the test animation, and a test recording contains its audio.
STEP 09

Project effects to a selected monitor

First check the connected monitors, extended-desktop mode and orientation in Windows display settings. In Screen projection on the app’s right side, identify the destination by its name, primary-monitor marker and dimensions.

Set canvas width W and height H: 1080 × 1920 for portrait or 1920 × 1080 for landscape. Open fullscreen projection. If you change the monitor or dimensions while it is open, apply the projection settings.

Projection preserves the artwork’s aspect ratio, with black unused areas, and does not change Windows resolution. Close projection or focus it and press Esc to exit. After unplugging a monitor or changing display settings, select and open it again.

Enlarge screenshot · Genuine stable-app interface with documentation demo data. 1. Select the target monitor. 2. Choose portrait, landscape or custom width/height. 3. Open fullscreen projection. DEMO 2 is an example monitor name.
ConfirmThe correct monitor shows the intended proportions and audio; keep the main app open.
STEP 10

Connect real chat after testing

Test an ordinary viewer, a TOP viewer and a custom ID, then save. After the host starts the stream normally in OBS or LIVE Studio, enter that host’s TikTok account ID at the top of Live Entrance and click Connect to chat.

Automatic chat connection is on by default, but the first connection still requires a click to establish the saved connection intent. While enabled and not manually disconnected, an unexpected drop or app restart triggers reconnection attempts. It retries periodically if the host is offline or the stream has ended.

Disconnect remembers the stopped state across restarts; click Connect to chat again to resume. Unticking automatic connection alone does not end the current connection. At the end of a session, disconnect chat and stop playback.

ConfirmThe status identifies the correct connected host, and real entrance events follow saved rules.
STEP 11

Update and back up your data

Before updating, save settings, disconnect chat, stop playback and fully close the app. Copy the folder below to a private backup location. It contains settings and licensing information; do not share it publicly.

Reopen the app, click the upper-right version number, and use Version and updates to select Stable and check for an update. Follow the download and restart prompts. You can also close the old app and run a new installer manually. Beta is for testing; avoid changing channels immediately before an important stream.

Refresh the OBS / Studio web source and test again after updating. Do not downgrade a large custom list to an old version that only supports 20 people. Keep the current version if compatibility checks block the downgrade.

%APPDATA%\live-entrance-zh-subscriber
ConfirmThe updated app, license and list work, and video/audio are retested before going live.
STEP 12

Upload diagnostic and configuration history

Open Diagnostics and configuration history inside Subscription and license. Automatic upload to the licensing management system is enabled by default. Check the pending count and last successful upload time.

For intermittent missing audio, reconnects or settings issues, note the time and reproduce the issue, then upload the logs. Give website support the time, app version, whether you use OBS or Studio, and the steps you took. The upload button may be unavailable when no records are pending.

Records wait locally while offline and upload after reconnection. Manual upload remains available with automatic upload off. History includes before/after settings such as specified account IDs and animation choices; it does not upload chat messages, license codes, API keys or passwords.

Enlarge screenshot · Genuine stable-app interface with documentation demo data. Find this panel inside Subscription and license. Enable automatic uploads or click Upload logs now. The three pending entries here are fictional; no real logs were uploaded for this tutorial.
ConfirmThe upload status confirms success so support can match the incident time and device.

Troubleshooting

Tests work but real entrances do not

Check that the host is live, the TikTok ID is correct, chat is connected, the license is valid, and rules are saved. A successful simulation does not guarantee a real event from TikTok.

A custom viewer animates but has no greeting

Check that ID’s speech option, personal template, Windows voice and speech volume. Test the same ID and check the source is not muted in OBS / Studio.

Repeated exits and entries do not trigger every time

Duplicate or merged events may be skipped, and the platform may not send a new event every time. Note the time and upload diagnostics instead of judging only by rapid re-entry.

The web source is transparent or empty

Transparency while idle is expected. Keep the app open and run Test entrance, then check the URL, layer order, dimensions and local port 17891 service.

OBS cannot connect

Use the OBS WebSocket guide to confirm the server is enabled and the authentication password and port match. Test the connection. Do not mix control port 4455 with overlay port 17891.

Audio is doubled or echoes

Check for duplicate sources or both source audio and desktop monitoring being captured. Keep the intended audio path and verify with headphones and a short recording.
